Today I drew Frieren looking up, viewer from a low angle. It's a trend on art Twitter right now. It was a challenging angle! I'm a relatively new artist and had never tried anything like this, but I feel like I learned a lot doing it 😊

There's an art trend going on on Twitter right now. A few days ago, someone posted art of Frieren from a low angle and asked "how are people able to draw at different angles?" It led to a BUNCH of artists now drawing Frieren at that angle (also led to her VA using the original as her pfp🥹)

The Twenty Thousand Rivers, which includes the Ale River, have their source in the Kamblu Plateau Grand Portal which spews water from an enormous portal on Blue Home.

Blue Home is an ocean planet full of all sorts of aquatic life. Lots of creatures get sucked into the portal

Nothing too exciting here today, just a description of a shop in Nine Fires. I love the vibes of this city so much. I definitely went overboard in this chapter, but I don't regret it. One day, I plan to write a whole book that takes place in Nine Fires

Tynan hasn't been alive long enough to have very many😂 But, being a telepath, they can peek into pretty much anyone's thoughts if they want. They aren't very *good* at telepathy, however, and can only read the most surface-level thoughts of other people. So, if someone has a

Are they good at keeping them for others? Do they try to find out secrets being kept from them, or leave it alone?

The Ale River becomes ale due to a magical catastrophe that happened long before the Gods existed. Back in those days, sometimes elements went berserk and... weird things happened.

The Twenty Thousand Rivers are all the many rivers that cross the barrier that turns water
Hey there, #NovemberWorldbuilders! Tell me a story about your river/lake. Do the locals have any beliefs about it? A myth or legend or a tie to their religion? What makes this bit of water so important to their culture?

This is the end of a conversation between Shallot and Parsnips (a "married" couple) (as in, you can think of them as married, but this is a world where commoners don't get married)

Gist of the convo is "Shallot, you don't follow society, anyway..."

I did a lot today. Very happy with myself!

-went to the grocery store
-read half of a SFINCS novella
-read a manga
-wrote a good amount (and that I'm happy with!)
-spent an appropriate amount of time online
-spent an appropriate amount of time talking to friends
-even had time for video games

The one thing I do (which I sometimes forget to do, so I'll have to go over their dialogue in editing and fix it) is that Shanks can't say 'you' (comes out 'yeh') because, well, Kraken mouthparts. He also can't laugh, so he'll SAY "haha." Then Turnip, imitating him, grew up to do the same
Hey #WritingCommunity, do your OCs have a distinct way of speaking? Do they use particular words or phrases? Are they formal? Casual? Polite? Rude? What's their voice?

Tynan can't really be tempted. They can manipulate their brain to like or dislike things as needed. But if you need them to do something, they are bound by a magical oath to obey their parents and grandfathers, so... Guess it boils down to tempting one of their parents, lol

What tempts your character?

If you had to convince them to do something they didn't really want to do, like getting a dog to take a bath using cheese, what would you use?

Would it be cheese?

Friends, I did it. I wrote the description. I'm not sure how GOOD it is, but it uses pretty words, so maybe only architectural geniuses will have the know-how to call me out on inaccuracies 😂

Thanks to Lorelei, Aowna, and Karkki for their assistance! 😘 (no room to tag you. Hope you all see this)

15. For this week's prompts, I will talk about the Ale River which flows through Aleton, where the Good Thyme Inn is located.

There's a magical space where, when water goes through, it transforms into ale. The inn was built around that space to control ale distribution.
Welcome to our third week, #NovemberWorldbuilders! This time we're talking about important RIVERS or LAKES in our world! But, tbh, any sufficiently important body of water will do. Also, don't feel obliged to answer; sometimes I cover niche topics that aren't for everyone!

I couldn't for the life of me think of a good term for my gecko's enclosure (aquarium/vivarium) so I just called it a "gecko chamber" and now my partner is never going to let me forget it😭😂

Context: these two are playing a board game LMFAO. Their 'soldiers' are wooden figures

Before we get to Tynan, let's review the context, including some things we learned about the upcoming war:

-Aloutia is on the verge of a war with Ophidia
-both countries have Godbloods they are willing to use as magic WMDs
-Ophidia engages in sex-based slavery
-the war will also

I don't want to hijack Charlie's thread, so I'mma drop some more lore here:

I love the comparisons they make it more fun! And I get to learn more PD lore! 😁

But yes, it is a bit of an arms race. And many of the mages we meet in my story are happy to protect their country. But I can't blame those who didn't want that life either...

So, Aloutia has a big one: Mind elementals are *not* allowed to use money. Or really anything resembling money. Like, barter systems or trade is also kinda iffy. They are meant to live in communities where they work because it's the right thing to do, and they fulfill their
What's up, #NovemberWorldbuilders peeps! Have you dared to get a little freaky with your worldbuilding? Does your fictional world's society believe something to be good or evil which societies on Earth (generally speaking) do not agree with? How did you come up with that idea?👀

I am fine with people writing fanfic of my world. That's totally fine! I am not going to pull an Anne Rice in this situation. I'll only read it if I am asked to (for legal reasons), however.

I had a wonderful fanfic written of my world by my friend @akernis.bsky.social and it was amazing
