Lawyers can't reach clients in ICE detention. I've heard it anecdotally, but scale of issue is horrifying.

Bloomberg Law is a legal trade pub so many may miss this. Screenshot from their CA newsletter summarizes "bleak" situation for justice and rule of law.

👀 Looks like the husband of the woman ICE abducted called his lawyer, lawyer called the cops, then the police chief went and got her & took her home

I am not one of those Epstein files will show Trump raping kids people, but this is some shady shit.
Blanche on Epstein files: "The number of responsive pages is significantly smaller than the total number of pages initially collected. That's what we're releasing more than 3 million pages today and not the 6 million pages that we collected."

Trump does not know anything about Fort Sumter.
Q: Gov. Walz recently likened the conflict on the ground to Ft. Sumter, implying that this is the beginning of civil war. Do you feel there's a civil war brewing in Minneapolis?

TRUMP: Does he know what Ft. Sumter was or do you think somebody wrote it out for him? I was elected on law and order

I knew someone was going to show that McSweeny’s piece!
Trump on Mpls: "Do these people really want to have rapists and drug dealers and people from prisons and murderers, do they really want to have them in the community? It's really insurrectionists and agitators and they're paid ... everybody has a beautiful sign with brand new wood. Leather panels."

I get tired of saying it, but I’ll say it again: the nature of oppression in America is that they workshop it first on Black, Latino, Asian & Native people.

But it is always, in the end, coming for everyone.
The arrests of journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are a test for every MSM member with a platform. If you are not voicing your outrage at this blatant violation of the First Amendment, you are utterly discredited as a journalist.

Listening to BBC where they are interviewing two former ICE agents who are calling protestors agitators and who are lying about Renee Good. Someone should tell them, you can easily argue that America was started on the idea of standing in front of authority and saying no.
