Have you ever watched (or been) someone who rarely plays video games try to navigate a modern game? They try to enter doors that are purely cosmetic, miss flashing power-ups, don't clock implicit goals, can't separate relevant from irrelevant stimuli? That's how being autistic often feels to me.
