I don't think we have fully reckoned with the generational effects of venture capital on the social positioning of the very wealthy. The current American pathway to wealth requires one to treat others as disposable. It is difficult to come back from that, especially with ungodly wealth.

Do this in parallel with lots of young people and you are guaranteed to turn money into exponentially more money. You also convert those people's twenties into an endless grind that can easily turn them into the bitter, mercenary objectivists that are currently destroying our country
