According to Elections Alberta data, Joshua Eberhart does not vote in provincial elections. The question then becomes how does someone who does not even vote get talked into leading a recall? Wouldn't it be wonderful for Albertans to stop being exploited, transferring hundreds of billions to Quebec and other hypocrites who attack and hold Alberta back? And wouldn't it be wonderful to stop having to fund an entrenched SWAMP in Ottawa who glut themselves on our labors and are often jealous and hostile to Alberta's freedom and prosperity? Yes, Canada is suffering under economic warfare, but what about Alberta, who suffered economic warfare under Trudeau for many years. Where was Team Canada back then? And now in this trade war, some on this "team" are calling for export taxes on Alberta oil using us as their sacrificial lamb costing them nothing! This is a fake team. Canada is broken. And this has been the case for a long time. And the acknowledgement of this truth stands independent of. and does not condone, destructive trade wars. Politicians, including Trudeau, broke Canada and made us more vulnerable to trade wars. And these politicians cannot be trusted to fix what they broke. Albertans voted in a referendum to get rid of equalization. And what did the rest of Canada do? Nothing. This will never change. TAX CUT Starting this year, Alberta taxpayers will benefit from a new eight per cent personal tax bracket on income up to $60,000. down from the previous rate of 10 per cent. When this new tax cut takes effect, taxpayers will save up to $750 in 2025, while two-income families will see savings of up to $1,500, which will help them and their families with the cost of groceries, housing, utility bills or other priorities. Other than taking many billions from us every year, attacking, and holding us back, what does Canada offer Alberta? Albertans share a desire for freedom and prosperity for themselves and their children. That is good. The status quo is unacceptable and that is the truth. We are not too big, not too small, with a wide variety of amenities and businesses, a wonderful polytechnic, a beautiful river trail and park system, nearby lakes, our West Country and mountains, all possessing amazing recreational opportunities. Red Deer has the potential to be the best place to live, work and raise a family in Alberta, the best province in Canada. But there are challenges, there is too much law breaking - including stealing, vandalizing, littering, and drugs. City taxpayers pay for policing more than any other expense. All law breaking should be ticketed and prosecuted. Failure to do so emboldens law breaking. Red Deer should not be a desirable place for any choosing to live in addictions and commit crimes or break laws to support those addictions. Red Deer also should not be a desirable place to live in sleeper camps. We have shelters with capacity and there should be zero tolerance for sleeper camps in public parks and spaces with those camps taken down and dismantled immediately. One's personal preference for camping over using a shelter is not justification for breaking the law. Any properties where there is regular drug dealing or any other criminal activity should be reported investigated and shut down. Any organizations that assist in illegal drug use or other crime and are not good neighbors should not receive taxpayer dollars. Red Deer can be a place of hope, welcoming those seeking recovery and freedom from addiction and any who are working to have greater self-reliance and improve their circumstances, however difficult. Many great individuals and organizations in our community are engaged in this calling, work and service. Red Deer should not however, welcome or tolerate law breaking. A Family's Financial Ties Dr. Oz was born in Cleveland to a wealthy Turkish American family. His father, Mustafa, was a thoracic surgeon who died in 2019. He has familial links to one of Turkey's largest pharmaceutical companies, Atabay, that was founded by his maternal grandfather. It makes ingredients for medications, including opioids, that are currently sold in the United States. It does not appear that he had an ownership stake in the company, although he has had contact with top health officials in Turkey along with his uncle, who was once Atabay's chairman. I share your fear. I was ruminating on the same thing this morning. I am checking Election Alberta’s website daily to see if/when recall petitions are approved. The timeline for Nicolaides’ recall moved fairly quickly. I also fear people will tire of too many petitions. Requires a lot of volunteers.

I’m curious how her approval rating has dropped with just her far-right base? It will be interesting to see how she comes out the backside of the UCP AGM. Lots of “chatter” TBA will completely take over the board. Maybe she’ll be even more 🦇 💩 🤪 to hold onto power and lose more of the undecideds.
