I applaud this heavily for trying to explain group theory to someone with zero prior knowledge but I'm afraid there's a reason people need to study for years before being able to nicely conceptualize algebraic structures.
Modern algebra can help solve a scrambled Rubik's cube. It's not just about equations, but studying objects and how they behave when combined in different ways.

Silly math of the day: A modern SSD gets around 0.05 picograms heavier for every terabyte of data you store in it. Zeros are heavier and an empty SSD is all ones.
(This is back of the napkin math, I might easily be off by a factor of 10.)
