As I've always said, I will not support a government funding bill that continues to raise our costs, jeopardizes our health care, and hurts the people of my state.

Did you get your new healthcare premium notice yet?

“Medicare for All” is starting to sound real good to a lot of folks who didn’t want to talk about it before.

The problem with "we have no choice but to do this thing Trump and the GOP want because otherwise the government stays shut down" is that there's no limiting principle.

i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?
November 10, 2025 at 12:56 AM
@schumer.senate.gov Do not cave to their lies! Do not vote to end the shutdown unless it includes more than their useless promises. Don’t be Charlie Brown with Lucy and the football.

I stand with @sanders.senate.gov. This is not about politics, but about real people. It's not about securing a vote for show, but preventing premium hikes for Americans who are scared of what that will mean for them.

Caving on a deal that doesn’t fix health care is, and always has been, a giant betrayal of the American people.

Hold the line. Save health care. I’m a NO on anything that doesn’t extend ACA subsidies.

There has to be something bigger at play going on with Mike Johnson and Trump

They are delaying that Arizona Congresswoman being sworn in for a reason

The longer the Epstein Files aren’t released the more time for Trump to do something major like militarily or create a major crisis

Hmmm

Judge Jackson likely issued the SNAP administrative stay because "It drastically increases the odds of the full Supreme Court resolving this issue by the end of next week—one way or the other."

She is the overseeing justice of the first circuit and does not want this urgent case to bog down
If you’re trying to catch up on what went down with #SNAP late last night at #SCOTUS, here’s my attempt to read the breadcrumbs on the “administrative stay” issued by Justice Jackson—and why a justice so critical of the Court’s grants of emergency relief to Trump still granted temporary relief here:
190. SNAP WTF?
A very quick explainer on why Justice Jackson issued an "administrative stay" in the SNAP case late on Friday night, and on what's likely to happen next
