Just want to see some cool games made by cool people.

He/Him
What a year! So many of these games are top genre contenders but I don't think any has had the impact that Stardew Valley has had on gaming as a whole.

It was my GOTY then and I still have to pick it now but it's got a ton of incredible competition.
Quote this with what you would have said your game of the year was at the end of 2016, and what you would say your favourite game of 2016 is now, if it differs

If you are an indie dev struggling to get your name and game out there, I hope it helps to know that Amazon struggles with marketing too.
Genuinely incredibly fascinating study in what marketing vectors lead to literally zero sales here, wowwww

I had no idea they were doing this. Simogo is one of the best devs in the business and I've always wanted to play Device 6 but never had an iOS device.
The developer has considered everything in translating these games to consoles, adapting mobile-first experiences into versatile ports. Our Simogo Legacy Collection review: (Repost)

My 4 year old son's current obsession is Jonathan Young's metal covers. He still struggles with sentences but it's always clear when he says "Dada? Cold Below, please!" 😂

Some great games in this bundle but in particular, Call of the Sea is a REALLY good Lovecraftian puzzle/mystery game. Well worth the $12 if you haven't played it and then you get a bunch of other great games too!

The Mighty Nein series was always gonna need some pretty substantial changes but some of the ones they're making strike me as... Questionable? Do other folks like it so far?

"oh, don't forget to highlight, in bright red, the two-letter word in the tagline! the two letter word that's kind of the whole point of this clever ad campaign! the two letter word that links this show to the horror movie of the same name!"

"no problem boss. i'm on it"

Happy Steam Awards Season! When the Steam news feed becomes completely useless as everyone asks for nominations!

I had read that the detective stuff was fairly limited in Seance at Blake Manor but I started it and I'm having a great time! The limited time (which is actually just limited actions) is only just limited enough where I feel encouraged to think about what I'm doing and not ask random questions.

So I was also fooled by the rumored episode lengths for season 5. It's a bummer but it leaves me wondering why it took so long to make this season if they weren't super long episodes?

The last season of Game of Thrones took 2 years. Stranger Things season 5 was 3 and a half years.

I'm so ready to go back to Hawkins one last time. 😁

Elaine Hendrix's freestyle tonight on DwtS was incredible. It would have been my favorite dance of the season if not for her Wicked dance earlier. What an absolute inspiration.

I nominated Blue Prince for game of the year.

Expedition 33 is one of the best games I've ever played. But if you told me someone out there would make a really good Final Fantasy again, I'd say "yeah, that makes sense." It was inevitable that the genre would make a return.

Woke up this morning looking forward to my son's last day of ABA and playing Powerwash with him.

Ending the day waiting to be transferred to a hospital I've never been to so I can get my appendix removed.

There's gonna be a new Stargate series and that somehow isn't the only news everyone is talking about today?!?!

Epstein who? THERE'S GONNA BE A NEW STARGATE!!

I just got several new games I wanted to learn to GM and I get some kind of lingering throat issue that keeps me from talking. Fingers crossed my upcoming doctor appointments will help!

Price will be everything in the success of Valve's hardware and it could go either way. The Steam Controller had issues but it was cheap and good for what it was. The Index was a great headset but was way too expensive.

I think if the Steam Machine is right around $400 or $500, it'll succeed.

I've been wanting something like this for years. A proper Steam console is so helpful for playing local multiplayer games on a TV from Steam.

The Steam Deck is great but it has a lot of jank when it's docked. Fingers crossed this machine will have a lot of those wrinkles ironed out.
Valve is shuffling towards the console space with a dinky cuboid Steam Machine. But what is it exactly? Here's everything we know www.eurogamer.net/steam-machin...

The speedrunning community for Astro's Playroom is amazing. One of these levels I'm only off the WR by about 1.8 seconds and that ranks me at 14,000.

People are incredible!

Be careful with the board game humble bundle with Renegade going on now. You have to buy the bundle with no refunds before they tell you the shipping costs. I'm in the US and shipping was nearly $40.

You could teach a class on adaptated storytelling with Invincible. Not because it's perfect but because every choice is made with careful intention and is fascinating.

Pro tip for D&D 5e players, when you have an ability that boosts another player (Bardic Inspiration, Bless, Aura of Protection, etc.), be proactive about reminding folks that they have it.

It's your ability. You know it better than the rest of the table does. Help your party out!
