Salmon sushi bake (with crumbled seaweed on top since I forgot to get green onions) and pecan pie. Today was just hubs and I since he's recovering from his PRP injection, so I didn't want to cook a bajillion things that he wouldn't be able to eat 1-handed. I at least wanted pie for dessert, lol.

I also had tacos from a new place in town. Win win.
Dinner! Hubs got Mexican style ground beef tacos and I got Mexican style barbacoa tacos (basically both were corn tortillas, meat, onion, and cilantro). Both came with a side of rice and refried beans. And we got to try horchata, which was super yum! I forget what the restaurant called it, but it's basically loaded fries, but Mexican style. So think of stuff you'd put on tacos, add rice, and load it all up on some french fries. I liked it, my husband didn't.

My favorite time of year is when these are on shelves!! 😋😋 growing up, these were a favorite treat of mine, as well as my mom's. She usually had to hide them from me so I wouldn't eat the whole box 😂

Our old couch was beginning to show its age (and one too many nails 😬). Took like a month to arrive, but the new couch is here! My bestie got to pick it out since that's where she sits for D&D 😆
the new couch. It is yellow and has black & white spots all over it... which I'm just now realizing its supposed to look like sunflowers? Neat. In front of the couch is my bestie's D&D stuff: dice/dice tray, the 2014 PHB, a notebook, and a coaster.
