Rep. Melanie Stansbury: “The United States government is engaged in an active coverup of the largest sex trafficking scandal & influence peddling scandal in the history of the United States — and Donald Trump is right at the center of it”

Love the righteous indignation that these Democrats and Republicans are giving. But nothing will be done about it. It’s now accepted that he’s a racist, he’s a pedophile, he’s a misogynist. Then radio silence.
The White House removed a video shared by Trump on social media that included racist footage depicting Barack and Michelle Obama as apes. The move came after Trump faced backlash from Democrats and Republicans alike for posting the video, which was called "racist," "offensive" and "unacceptable.

The footage is included in a video that promotes false claims that the 2020 presidential election was rigged against Mr. Trump.

Two days ago, we discovered Trump has engaged in the most corrupt behavior of any president in history—giving secret technology to China's ally in exchange for the Trump family getting half a billion dollars.

And nobody is still talking about it. #Corruption

How did they redact abusers but not the victims? And they expect us to believe 40 nude photos went unnoticed?

That’s exactly why people think the DOJ did this on purpose, to shame these women for coming forward.

Pedophiles will search out new victims when their well dries up. My abuser continued to abuse after he got out of prison for his crimes against his own children. He was deemed safe for society after being in a “pedo program.” They cant control themselves. There is a new Epstein, probably a network.
Probably the big question should be, who is the current Epstein? A culture that engrained and widespread doesn't go away just cos one guy died.

If Congress doesn’t act, the last nuclear arms control treaty between the U.S. and Russia will expire. It would pointlessly wipe out decades of diplomacy, and could spark another arms race that makes the world less safe. This piece is worth the read.

I’m worried something really bad is being planned for the Super Bowl. Like ICE surrounding it as everyone is leaving and causing a huge riot. People will be kidnapped, hurt and killed. They’ll call it an insurrection. I hate what this administration is doing to us. I catastrophize A LOT but am I?

We can talk about ICE and their heinous murders and kidnappings and still talk about Venezuela and Greenland and STILL talk about the Epstein Files. It doesn’t have to be one at a time. We need to keep demanding the unredacted Epstein files…

I highly doubt ACTUAL law enforcement handed that cosplay Barbie a loaded gun. God, I hope not!
Kristi Noem cosplaying as law enforcement, and points her weapon at the head of the guy beside her? Doesn't she claim she hunts? Or maybe she learned from Dick Cheney?

Tonight’s movie - John Carpenter’s The Thing. A classic that I haven’t watched since the 80s. Can’t believe I just never thought to watch it again until it suddenly started showing up on fyp for some reason.

Not only are they doing exactly what they were trained for but these sadists are loving every second of it. These psychopaths signed up to harm people.
Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

Growing up, I could never know if I’d be safe from day to the next. You can’t read your abuser’s mind so you don’t know if they are going to beat you. You don’t know what could set them off that day. The citizens of this country don’t know if they are going to get a beating from one day to the next.
This presidency feels like an abusive household.

I was just illegally denied entry to Dilley Detention Center. Because they have something to hide.

Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

#catsky please help! Last year, my black cat Raven started showing bald patches. Went to vet thinking she might have a thyroid issue. The vet said she’s pulling it out. We did all the mama pheromone treatments (shampoo, conditioner, plug in). Also steroids and a donut to wear and her hair grew back
