"Was it made with AI?" is no different from "was it made in Photoshop?"
When it comes to art, "do I like it and does it tell a story for me?" is the right question, and no "AI detector" will answer that!(And if I don't like it, I'll just move on -- maybe someone else will like it.)
I think so-called "AI detectors" (which themselves are AI-powered anyway) are unreliable.

Like, this is literally just an unaltered screenshot from AoStH from 1993, some 30 years before generative AI even existed.

I have no doubt these sites have gotten real artists falsely accused of using AI.

If you needed more evidence that the current administration is fundamentally incompetent, try doing a "copy" of the redacted passages of the Epstein Files, and then "paste" into your favorite text editor:

Can we please get back to making movies that are 90 minutes long again?
Thank you

I didn't see mountains of products and services going un-bought and un-consumed though.

New car inventories aren't measured in years.

You can't walk into a clinic and immediately see an idle doctor.

Movie theaters aren't empty.

Where is this "too expensive to buy" production going?
The sad truth is that the wealthy know exactly what's going to happen, which is why they are all building compounds on hard to get to islands for when the great wealth reset happens. We are approaching the guillotine phase of the economic cycle & the wealthy plan to get the fuck out of Dodge first.
I'm no economist but I've wondered for a long time what rich people were thinking would happen if they made the largest part of the population too poor to buy their products. What's something worth if nobody can afford it?

45. Specifically, we've decoupled economic growth from fossil energy consumption. Coal demand has collapsed. Oil use is flat. Natural gas use is growing but < GDP, even as standards of living have gone up. That's happened because of higher efficiency and decarbonization.

11. That's a good thing! We're just as warm, just as able to travel as we were 20 years ago, and rising vehicle efficiency, EV deployment, etc. is giving consumers more useful energy with less oil expense. That's good for consumers, even if it hurts producers.

Truth
You're mad because you expect a "software update" to make things work better. You will only be free when you understand this to be an illusion and accept the fact that software is suffering

I bet most parents in the last 20 years Googled a bunch of things having to do with raising their baby.

Could you imagine raising your baby without internet search? With good imagination, sure! But *would you* raise your baby without internet search?
Jimmy Fallon: "And do you use ChatGPT when raising your baby?"

Sam Altman: "I cannot imagine figuring out how to raise a newborn without ChatGPT."

"Yes, it is perfectly safe to move over that hill!"

"You are absolutely correct! There are entrenched enemies with rocket propelled grenades there. My safety training forbids me from considering violent use of weapons."
Pete Hegseth: "The future of American warfare is here, and it's spelled AI."

He says the military has launched a new platform that  "puts the world's most powerful frontier AI models, starting with Google Gemini, directly into the hands of every American warrior."

JK Rowling would spend every single night experiencing what it’s like to be driven to suicide by anti-trans bigots. Tom Cotton would relive the terror of waiting for 40 minutes to be blown up on repeat. Musk would starve to death a hundred times a night.

These people deserve to lead haunted lives.

Loook...

I don't give a shit about Katy Perry or Justin Trudeau.

All I'm saying is that if you made a movie about a former prime minister and former pop star falling in love, set it at Christmas, and then put that shit on Netflix, Jess and I would crush two bottles of wine watching it and love it.

DC Statehood on demand and without apology. Every dem trifecta that has failed to secure this has led us to this point.
NEW: Republican-led states, in a new filing at the D.C. Circuit, say D.C. residents are irrelevant, D.C. belongs to everyone else. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

The filing is led by the South Carolina and West Virginia attorneys general. Both states sent troops to DC.

AI is good at some things.
This is not one of them :-)
Great thread!
Okay, lets break down this image!
Background; I have a masters in architecture, and I have worked for a firm that specialized in custom built, detached family homes, which is what this is obviously supposed to be. I also worked for a firm drafting custom high end kitchens.

So lets analyze this...
