We do not have an obligation to facilitate a get rich quick grift for zoomers. We do have an obligation to regulate a fair and efficient financial market that will protect investors from bad faith actors. If they want to gamble they should do to the casino.

Sorry, if you want to point at employment figures to assert economic health it's not immaterial to interrogate what that number really represents.
The phenomenon at issue here is that there are standard ways we measure whether the economy is "good" and they typically correspond with public sentiment. At some point in the last few years that relationship broke down.
