I think this is the best analysis so far.

There's a new generation of nihilistic, post-meaning psychos out there whose brains have been turned into foie gras from being force-fed disinformation. They assume the world is doomed and there's no future, so they just want to cause chaos for the lulz.

El Retiro lleva hoy 16 días cerrado. En términos de salud pública es la decisión más irracional que he visto nunca. Cerrar el único lugar en el que los madrileños pueden ir a respirar aire limpio, hacer deporte o huir del tráfico.

(Bloomberg) -- Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence startup xAI is trying to raise $9.3 billion in debt and equity, but even before the money is in the bank the company has plans to spend more than half of it in just the next three months, according to deal terms shared with investors. The rate at which the company is raising funds and tearing through cash offers a stark illustration of the unprecedented financial demands of the artificial intelligence industry, and the relatively meager revenues it is bringing in so far, at least when it comes to xAI. Universal did not permit, authorize, or license Midjourney to copy or use any of Universal's copyrighted works in connection with any version of its Image Service or to otherwise exploit Universal's works at any time. You acknowledged as much in a September 16, 2022 Forbes interview in which you confirmed that Midjourney never sought any copyright holders' consent to use or exploit their works: Did you seek consent from living artists or work still under copyright? No. There isn't really a way to get a hundred million images and know where they're coming from. It would be cool if images had metadata embedded in them about the copyright owner or something. But that's not a thing; there's not a registry. There's no way to find a picture on the Internet, and then automatically trace it to an owner and then have any way of doing anything to authenticate it. See Rob Salkowitz. Quizás lo más importante que ha pasado en España esta semana es la huelga educativa en Asturias, pero el agujero negro de la atención que es Madrid Media (que tampoco cuenta nada de nuestro Madrid real) no sólo no quiere que se hablen ciertas lenguas, tampoco quiere saber de ciertos conflictos.

Like at this point if you've got Wario Amodei saying 50% of white collar jobs are going away you should be able to show me like, a company where they've done that with ten people? And explain what they've replaced and how? Seems reasonable to ask with how powerful AI is supposed to be.
