The online tarot readers are forecasting shocking revelations and sweet sweet revenge for my coming week and yet my heart’s longings are pasta, pie, and a modest win in powerball. Don’t even need the whole jackpot

Been reading comments again and it’s left me with an uncomfortable feeling again, primarily because of the number of imbeciles

Pointless rolling the dice when everything’s already owned by a Goodman, Menashe, Russell, Zidell, or Schnitzer. No thanks. I’ll stick with Scrabble
Portland’s Monopoly game is finally here.

The list of properties is basically an ideal itinerary of a Portland adventure.

I remember my friends’ three year old getting fucking pissed about “bad guys” but like most of us he grew out of it
I think the core belief that shapes the most people and is simply unthinkable to me is that "there are good people and bad people and one of the primary goals of society is to identify and imprison/remove the bad people"

While at this point I am effectively nonpracticing, and though I haven’t *left* in the sense that Adam says he’s left (crucially, I didn’t *begin* with Christianity where he began), I think there comes a point in any Christian’s reflections when you’re forced confront the *problem* that Paul is

I am confident the contents of the full files are worse than what we know, and that the conduct not captured by them is magnitudes more horrifying than most people are imagining, and that none of it matters if what we already know is not enough to lock him up forever

So far, the Council has done very little oversight work. But the budget can be an effective way of doing it. For example, instead of trying to litigate the Mayor's shelter strategy as an amendment to a complicated technical budget exercise, do it as a part of a deep-detailed oversight effort. 3/

Folks tend to know their own bodies better than anybody else does and, if you ask, can tell you who they are and what they need, if you ask
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

Yesterday I mentioned Keith Wilson and his buddy Nathan Vasquez cooking up a "community court" that assigns unpaid labor to homeless arrestees, and I connected it with Downtown Clean & Safe and the Portland Business Alliance, because these things are connected www.portlandmercury.com/news/2008/08...
