The disparity btwn what’s actually happening in Los Angeles and the way it’s being mischaracterized is one of the biggest stress tests of modern media in recent memory. Botted socials, AI, old clips, declining literacy—it’s like seeing a broken emergency response system hit by a storm.

Great video @steplyakov.bsky.social! TIL about WeakTimer ⏲️

Some of the hardest bugs to diagnose/fix can be memory leaks, so taking a proactive approach that eliminates the risk before deploying your code is crucial.
Hey #dotnet people:)

Just published another episode on Dissecting the Code YouTube channel - "Dissecting Memory Leaks in .NET".

How global events, hidden static collection and timers can cause memory leaks and the ways to avoid it.

While I'm still in awe we can generate videos like this, I also strongly believe there is no good that can come from this.

It's pretty lame to think that in the near future we'll soon be unable to trust what we see or hear anymore. George Orwell 1984 vibes 🤖
There is no safe and valid business reason for AI video generation with sound other than for misinformation. Similar to when they cloned Dolly the Sheep and the world decided that human cloning wasn't cool. Folks need to decide this isn't cool.

I spoke with some mentees in Microsoft's Africa Development Center yesterday regarding Soft Skills and Career Growth.

I chose to share about Resilience as a Soft Skill from my time on Active Duty that's been helpful for me. Microsoft lays off 6k people hours later.

Be Resilient. Life's tough dude

For those who need it, we're starting to roll out a new option for voice typing (WIN + H) so you can choose if you want profanity filtering enabled or not

Thanks, as always, for those who shared feedback about this 🙏

Explain how this is anything other than a favour for a Monday Night RAW appearance?
Linda McMahon made millions off staged fights, but now she’s part of a real one—gutting the Department of Education to leave vulnerable kids without the resources they need. She’s ready to dismantle it, starving it of staff & funding. Our children’s future isn’t a game.

The era of AI mix tapes begins, asking the DJ to play your song and then hanging out by the radio recording to cassette
DeepSeek made orders-of-magnitude leaps in all of these areas. (That means it was 10x to 100x more efficient.) Instead of gathering all that costly data, it _generated_ much of the necessary data — often using prior LLMs like Llama (Meta’s open source tool) and Qwen (an open source Chinese tool).
