I appreciate Richard's thread.
What's missing are a couple of important components.

1)financed & constructed by private sector, with FNs ownership & benefits
2) must have the approval of BC & FNs

Without those the PM can placate AB with words but without FNs & BC approval it's a non-starter.

🇨🇦 THE GRAND BARGAIN: OTTAWA & ALBERTA SIGN HISTORIC ENERGY PACT 🇨🇦

PM Carney and Premier Smith have inked a deal to reshape Canada’s economy.

The trade? A new pipeline to Asia in exchange for massive carbon tech investment. The emissions cap is dead.

AB minds have become so closed & lacking in creativity. For one thing, they have the most sunshine hours of all Canada. Why not a huge greenhouse project in the south? The Netherlands could teach them so much. Would work in BC too - similar climate.

That pipeline is going nowhere. Carney's trying to broaden minds of Albertans to nuclear, carbon capture, etc. AB has become so constricted in thinking.

"FN agreement in AB & BC is prerequisite for this to happen. And, if there is no private sector $, there is no pipeline".

Like you said, the main issue is people dont read articles on subjects to educate themselves and understand what’s actually going on. They see a title on social media post and freak out immediately. It’s as if adults these days have the temperament of a toddler. It’s quite disappointing.
