Hidden somewhere in the glorious #medieval manor house of Stokesay, #Shropshire, there is a treasure chest. It was owned by two giants, each of whom lived on neighbouring hills. They would lob the key to each other as needed - but one day it fell in the moat and they lost it.

Went to a Member’s Club (Gentlemen’s) The Oriental Club in London with boyfriend’s friends -one’s a member. Good food but paintings of men in red uniform with feathered hats and swords as well as noble natives on the walls. Yikes. Pretty colonial. Not my scene I hasten to add.

Then to the ‘studios place here for Swindonian artists to see two friends work. Phil put a wig and beret on with Wayne overcoat. Steve G is a (kitsch) artist with a raving ego who thinks we all steal his ideas. W said on Facebook “is it just me or is that Quentin Le Vow” …

Crumbs! A brown partridge walked out in front of the car though when we were at speed and it exploded! Feathers up and over the bonnet. Yikes!! Felt awful but it was but gone in an instant!

Did a car boot sale in Marlborough (don’t ya know) and made £34 Lots of Barbour jacketed dears and gents. Two yellow trousered chaps. Had a fab laugh with two friends doing it with. Top day!
