More of the same middle aged ranting/dad jokes as on the old place, really, but less rising to the political bait. Springsteen, West Ham, Europe-type stuff. 🇪🇺🇮🇪🇧🇦

Sabrina Carpenter has ratioed the White House. After the Trump administration used one of her songs in an ICE video, the 26-year-old singer demanded that the administration never involves her on her music in its “inhumane agenda”. The White House has today accepted defeat and deleted the video.

Speaking about yourself in the third person - always a winning tactic. Imagine wanting to draw attention to the fact that yes, you are the worst prime minister in the country’s history, and the easiest pub quiz question. Is she entirely well?

Considering how slavishly Reform follows Trump, I wonder what they make of the way the US government is now trying to explain away blowing up small boats and then following up to finish off. Anyone who has read 1984 may recall such scenes being presented as mass public entertainment.

Wow - Fiona Bruce's opening comments on BBCQT immigration special. 'For some, the small boats that turn up on these shores are a sign that the country has lost control of its borders ....' and that was the end of the sentence. No 'but others would say...' just left hanging. Appalling non-journalism.

Farage also wants an apology from the BBC "for all of your appalling output" or he won't speak to them again. He sounds very, very rattled.
