1. Bring 3 quarts of water to a boil.
2. Add 2 C grass.
3. Stir in 1/2 C dirt.
4. Simmer 3 hours stirring constantly.
5. Remove from the fire grate.
6. Add 3 pine needles & a pinch of air.
Serves 8. Enjoy.

The passing of the gop budget bill makes me think more deeply about needing to live like a frontier family, spending money only on flour, sugar, fabric, buttons, and coffee. Makers of necessities, local artisans, and farmers markets may benefit. I wish I were a better gardener.

Musk’s black eye is a metaphor. But Rachel Maddow showed us tonight on her show that the metaphor for DOGE is rats, roaches, & weed. Musk may step back, but he still carries a heavy load of responsibility for the damage he’s caused. Will we hold him accountable?
