Reminder that Francesca Albanese is not being targeted for a sentence twisted and lifted out of context in a speech.

She is being targeted for daring to name the names of giant companies complicit in the crime of genocide.

They would rather destroy international law than be accountable to it.

The average family family in the top 0.01% had 4,041x the wealth of the average family in the bottom 50%.

86 billionaire families held as much wealth as the 6.2 million least wealthy families.

We need policy action—including a wealth tax—to rein in the economic & political power of the super-rich.

Poilievre’s council is the opposite of what is needed. We need a political party that works unapologetically for the betterment of average Canadian people. To me that party is the Av Lewis led NDP.
Pierre Poilievre’s new governing council is stacked with corporate lobbyists.

Lobbyists and anti-abortion activists on influential body are a contrast to Conservative Party’s public messaging.

This, friends, is what an audacious plan to tackle inequality and restore tax fairness looks like 👇
There are fountains of wealth being generated in this country. But that wealth isn't trickling down to working people. It’s all stuck at the top.

Our 'Tax Plan for the 99%' takes on the corporate hoarding class – to redistribute wealth and raise the floor for all of us.

Imagine radical compassion
Taxing the rich will generate significant revenue, but that’s not its only purpose. By reducing inequality we can balance the scales of society.

Together, we can ensure that the wealth of this country is not hoarded by the few but redistributed to improve life for the 99%.
