<p>Meanwhile, reverse displacements were also recorded, with more than 22,000 people returning to their original areas within Gaza City by Saturday afternoon, with many returning after they could not secure basic necessities in the south. </p>
<p>The office also confirmed that 900,000 Palestinians "remain steadfast in Gaza City and the north, categorically refusing to be displaced to the south".</p>
