What one might dismiss as a simple enough panel resonates REALLY strongly with the Idea Of Evil.

But curious: IF he vetoes it, then...

...Do the House and Senate have to schedule a vote to override or is that automatic?

The point of this scene is that the torches the characters are holding hold the monsters at bay. Annnddd if you close your hands in prayer, you aren't holding a torch.

I am a man of (Pan-Hellenic Pagan) faith and all that, but Guts during the Conviction Arc speaks to faith without action.

And some goofballs mistake him for nihlistic.
