AI can help for sure. One thought: rather than seeing/treating formative assessment as a thing (eg. exit tickets), let’s keep in mind that how assessment info is used determines if it’s formative or summative. Not the tool itself.

Not at all. I say to kids in class that choosing to play dodgeball outside of school is one thing, and many people love it. However, as a mandated activity for all to do in PE class is another. Kids want to play it intramural-cool. In class for all to do-no thanks

Yup. They are great tools indeed. Are you using them to evaluate both learning achievement with specific learning standards and then also to determine an overall grade, or one to determine an overall grade only?

Great question. Are you searching for prof scales to evaluate particular learning standards or to form an overall grade for reporting purposes? They serve different purposes so just trying to clarify
