to be fair, nothing ELSE is priced to a tenth of a cent. Ngl when I was younger (like... 15 years ago) I thought the 9/10 on gas station signs was like... something to do with the quality of the gas or something

Feels like she was going for this sentiment but maybe didn't phrase it well. bsky.app/profile/theo...
i do not think that nonhuman things have feelings to be hurt but i do think the intent to hurt feelings is bad for a person notwithstanding whether the object of their sadism is real
You seem to be under the impression the fancy search engine has feelings that can be hurt, which it doesn’t because it’s just a bunch of 1’s and 0’s.

is there a thread somewhere where I can see how this all started? I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out wtf is going on

Honestly I don't mind that particular thing that much? If Safari is gonna support X feature in ios 26, I'd have to wait until at least then to think about using it (although proberally longer). Which is most of how ios versions affect my life

Cool blog, gg Thibaud. Some tantalizing hints of what y'all are hoping to bring in too 👀

if the Go rewrite is gonna be TS 7.0, what do y'all have in mind for 6? Or are you just skipping ahead?

I mean... I'm not a Shopify dev. I'm a dev who knows Shopify. I'm mostly a coder but still most of what I end up doing for shopify sites involves more navigating UIs than writing code. You wouldn't be the first person to move from the dev team into a mostly PM role

Some feature adding, some "wtf is going on" work, maybe a full redesign/replatform? We did a big redesign for a brand and now they're bringing all their friends, so we want to hire another me. Probably full time although the job desc isn't written yet

does this mean that demo where the pictures load in in grid order is finally gonna be possible to actually do? Nifty

didya catch Mark Rober's newest video? Compares the Tesla's camera-based obstacle detection with one based on lidar. Convinces a Tesla on the cautious autopilot settings to drive right through a looney-tunes-style wall-with-a-road-painted-on-it.

I mean... s'not like the additional coverage came outta nowhere, yeah? Just looking at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of... the Washington mid-air collision is clearly remarkable. Hasn't been one like it since 2006 globally, or 1986 in the US (after which the FAA started requiring big flights have TCAS)

They did! Thank you very much for getting some movement. We're using the login-help link and hopefully will be able to get back control.

Hi don't wanna push my luck but any update? Still haven't heard back on the ticket. Just checked the original creation date and it's coming up on a full month that we've been waiting for a response. We just want to give you money!
