My kids prefer long bike rides vs long car rides. I must be doing something right.

It's below freezing, we have a birthday party to attend that's 6 miles away. I ask my 7 year old: "Want to drive or bike?"
Daughter with zero hesitation: "Bike."

Biking on our ice covered driveway with my 3 year old.
I am happily reaping what has been sown.

It can’t be about Bike Lanes. It needs to be about Complete Streets for all Vulnerable road users. Cars are killing pedestrians and recklessly driving into buildings. Speed bumps work to keep speeds down without needing police enforcement.
