So they won't be there as interpretative exhibits for the nation's 250th anniversary this summer.

Maybe they'll be back for the 300th, alongside newer exhibits detailing how and why they were once removed for a time.

Good question.

1) Covering substantive issues is harder than repeating press releases and reading the crime blotter

2) Challenging power and calling out BS makes powerful people angry

3) There is an audience for the old 'litany of tragedy' local news model of gawking at others' misfortune
Again, I ask: Why can't local news elsewhere be this factual and informative instead of fluff stories and "live" shots from the scene where some horrific crime happened more than a day ago?

People in Colorado have no idea how fortunate they are.

ICE should be dismantled immediately.

I will not support funding for the Department of Homeland Security when ICE and Border Patrol agents are assaulting protestors, detaining and arresting people with impunity, inciting violence, and shooting and killing American citizens.

A high school track star has been posting mile-long challenges on social media, each more absurd than the last. Few have resonated more than his “chicken mile” — which he pulled off in a swift 4 minutes and 57 seconds.

“The chicken did pretty good overall,” he said. “Didn’t poop on me.”

Based on both EPA per pass play and success rate, that Aaron Rodgers performance was the worst by a QB in a playoff game over the last 10 seasons.

Just as dominant of a defensive showing as you'll ever see from the Texans tonight.
