The UK Railways Bill going through the House of Commons today does nothing to address the decades of underfunding of Welsh railways.

Plaid Cymru is clear: Welsh rail should be in Welsh hands.

It’s time to end this injustice and devolve rail to Wales.

Plaid Cymru acted to protect services, to stop sky-high council tax bill rises, support our NHS and to make sure the next Welsh Government is on a more sustainable position after the election next year.

It's time for new leadership in 2026 with a Plaid Cymru Government.

🚨Labour's Budget isn't easing the cost-of-living crunch in #Wales

A Plaid Cymru government will:
👉create better paid jobs
👉expand free childcare + support families
👉push the UK government to tax extreme wealth and allow us to profit from our own natural resources

🗳Vote Plaid Cymru - 7 May 2026

Reform UK leaflets are landing across Wales - and people aren't impressed 😒

Caerphilly proved they can be beaten - and every poll says the next election is between Plaid and Reform!

If passed as is, Labour's Welsh Budget would be disastrous for our public services - and could lead to *double figure* Council Tax increases or thousands of job cuts. 🤯

Plaid Cymru is ready to get Wales out of the hole made by Labour, to protect our public services

This budget, as it stands, will hit public services hard.

Plaid Cymru would never allow councils to face 1000s of job losses, sky-rocketing council tax, nor the NHS receiving a historically low funding increase.

Plaid Cymru is ready to step up. The real question is: is Labour?

Welsh workers will be disproportionately hit by Labour’s decision to freeze the thresholds on income tax.

This means less money in people’s pockets to cope with the cost of living.

Labour’s ‘partnership in power’ isn’t delivering for Wales at all 😔

Today is also a chance to raise awareness, educate, and break the stigma to help prevent the spread of HIV and to protect future generations ♥️

Starmer's panic speech today to shore up the Chancellor and her Budget will do nothing to rebuild what little trust his Government had left.

People deserve transparency, and a Government that’s focused on improving lives – not one that keeps taking with scant returns.

Ahead of this Budget, @plaidcymru.bsky.social called for bold action to help households with the cost of living.

Labour’s measures today fall short of what was needed.

Welsh families won’t feel any difference in their pockets and will continue to be burdened with mounting costs.
