If we put the political news events of the last 12 months into a LLM and asked how likely is it that these events happened in a fully democratic country in the 3rd decade of the 21st century...I'm guessing we'd get "very unlikely in a healthy democracy." But who knows what we're in now.

It's a psychological challenge to experience the "most wonderful time of year" when, as a kid, you never felt like it was the most wonderful time, and now you have a child and want them to have a wonderful time and yet also want them to grow up to care about people more than things. #parenting
