It's possible that what we were hearing in that scene was indeed Jax and Ribbit fighting (it would align very well with my theory of how things ended between them, in fact), but...

We're definitely getting at least one scene in the next two episodes where Ribbit has actual dialogue, right? Because I don't think they'd go to the trouble of hiring an actual voice actor just for [muffled indistinct speech].

I'm not saying I don't believe them, but...well...I don't believe them.
Or, at the very least, Warner Bros. movies will TECHNICALLY be theatrical, but not on enough screens or for long enough to mean anything.
