There was a discussion on LinkedIn yesterday about the good days of Academic Twitter before everything went to crap and we left. I'm curious why we haven't been able to recreate that here. A lot of the same folks are here, but there's not as much engagement. What's Bluesky missing? ⚛️🧪

So are you saying we SHOULDN’T have raided that battery plant, put the South Koreans in leg irons and frog marched them off to a dank prison for about a week, @katiephang.bsky.social

But how else can we protect ‘Murica and stop all those criminal engineers from tearing us down by building factories
Phang: The South Koreans are here to help build, to help train, to help get this thing up and running so 8,500 Americans can have jobs. But no — the Trump administration, the dumbasses with their heads so far up their asses when it comes to immigration, are just sitting there rounding people up…

Mitotic single-stranded DNA suppression by DDIAS
Incomplete DNA replication and chromosome breakage during mitosis pose major threats to chromosome segregation. The CIP2A-TOPBP1 complex acts to mitigate this peril, but its exact role is not yet unde...

In a marathon hearing on Thursday before the Senate Finance Committee, RFK Jr. faced a barrage of questions from senators who were outraged by his recent actions.

In some cases, Kennedy appeared to promote flat-out lies.
RFK Jr. is living in a pretend anti-vax world
Unfortunately, he is wreaking havoc in the real one.

not just that he has no constitutional authority, there isn't even any particular legal or institutional mechanism by which the president can make anyone treat this as anything other than a weird advisory opinion.
This “explicit” is a weird editorial choice. The constitution gives the president no power over this at all. It’s not ambiguous.
