I think that the timing is wrong. If this movie came out when intended like years ago, our perspectives would be way different. I think there's a good point of what Sam is saying, the problem is that reality is way harsher and we're suffering it right now so the message feels dumb instead of hopeful
Trying to get (mostly) caught up on MCU stuff, just going to read summaries of things I'm not interested in, but started things off with Captain America: Brave New World and... wow, yeah, I get why people were so disappointed with this.
