My first attempt to image M 45 (Pleiades, Seven Sisters). The imaging session was flawless with almost perfect atmospheric conditions, but I have to learn how to process this particular dataset in PixInsight as I’m not 100% happy with the result.

As a sysadmin: *so much* software is total garbage written by incompetent developers who don’t know how to write documentation. Quality & ease varies *dramatically* project to project. I truly hope we see an abundance of well-written, properly packaged, easy-to-deploy software on ATP.
