In Shanghai? I wonder where these are… Maybe I can make a day trip out of trying to find the specific location of these ships & grab some pictures to share! 🚢

Guangdong is cool. I would never, ever pursue a life in Europe. But to each their own.

I don’t want the monetary value of people’s homes to go up, I just want people to have homes. Quality homes in which people can base their lives & build family units in. Housing should be treated like food or water. “If we increase the water supply my well won’t be as valuable!” —Sociopath thinking.

Idk how people are okay with living under repressive, authoritarian regimes like those dominant across Europe. I really feel bad for foreigners who exist under police states where the government surveils everything they do & police come to their homes to whisk them away over online comments. 😢

I hope one day as hardware becomes ever more optimized to running models locally on-device I’ll be able to not only run, but also train & customize, some of these larger, more powerful F/LOSS models myself on my own hardware.

Most of these models still require substantial amounts of hardware to run. There’s no way I’m going to be able to run a large & powerful model like these on my laptop (unlike some smaller, far more basic models). Would be cool to have a company hosting F/LOSS models as a service vs. OpenAI, Google…
