Is AI inherently bad? Of course not.

The question is: WHO controls it & for what purpose?

Does anyone believe that the richest people on Earth are investing hundreds of billions in AI to improve life for ordinary people, eliminate poverty & solve global warming?

I doubt it.

I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

Important to understand the Epstein stuff and the fascism and the corruption are, in a lot of ways, really all the same story from different angles: powerful men who can and do abuse vulnerable people around them because they can, and because systems of elite accountability catastrophically failed

Here's a gift link to the New York Times' coverage of the initial Tea Party rallies in April 2009 which inspired the media to treat it like a massive movement.

Check out how tiny the crowds were:

Philly: 200
DC: "several hundred"
Boston: 500
Austin: 1,000
Houston: 2,000

wikipedia's data shows that AI is siphoning traffic away from the site, which is a danger to its sustainability. ironically Wikipedia is more important than ever to users who want reliable information instead of slop, and to AI companies that need it for training data www.404media.co/wikipedia-sa...

The second richest man on earth is about to be a major owner of TikTok.

The third richest man owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

The fourth richest man owns The Washington Post.

Rather than permitting the Trump administration to frighten us out of resisting, we must understand this broad, vague, and performative executive order as an effort to intimidate.

It should catalyze us into urgent organizing, not paralyze us.

Only collective action can keep us safe and free.

Thousands of protesters came out to the Capitol grounds to rally against President Trump. Several politicians and local personalities spoke before a smaller group peacefully marched through Downtown. See the entire photo gallery: austinchronicle.com/photos/no-ki...

I think Americans, blessed with relatively stable government for a long time, assume there is someone, some adult, who will step in and make things right before the President does anything REALLY bad.

There’s not.

Oligarchy (noun): A government of and by a few at the top, who exercise power for their own benefit. Their power and wealth increase as they make laws that favor themselves, manipulate financial markets, and create monopolies that put more wealth into their pockets.
