A friend is moving and getting rid of stuff, they asked if we wanted some books. Of course I said “yes!”

Friends, they dropped off what is close to every @stephenking.bsky.social book?

There’s also some from Richard Bachman for some reason? Weird.

Back on my bullshit. This is not my work btw, just what I found after opening up a broken switch I bought for cheap due to a broken charge port.

If I can get this working again I’ll feel like a god, haha.

Where are the #turntable nerds at? This a “Hitachi P/E 3044” I found at an online auction and I can’t find much about it. I found a forum post saying it’s “essentially” a Dual 1225?

It looks like a solid Frankenstein record player sold in Canadian markets?

The look we get after putting up a snow fence to keep her out of the forbidden zone 🤣

In case anyone was wondering, yes, the large inflatable snowmen have buttholes.

Hey #linux friends I just need a little hint for when Grub won’t boot after decrypting master key.

Pretend I’m just a silly little goose that needs a little help.

I thought they were going to pay him to leave? You know, to save the company? No?

Okay, Cybertruck X on the way I’m sure.

This would be helpful if I knew what my “mobile coverage” area was.

I picked this up today at a used book store on a whim because Le Guin rarely misses. 30 pages in and I’m really liking it! I’ve only read a few Sci-fi books from her, the fantasy setting is refreshing!

Yay, I hope this pulls me out of my yearly reading slump 🙂

33% success rate on repairing broken Nintendo Switches!

I might be able to bring that to 66% today.

Bumped the TV while I was vacuuming which appears to have been an expensive mistake.

Okay, parked at #usask and the cops are pouring in. Saw one with an assault rifle. Wtf is going on?

Back to making silly mistakes with electronics.

Got this for cheap on eBay, wouldn’t power on. After looking inside it clearly had water damage.

I don’t know what to do about that, but it MIGHT be something I can fix. Well will see! #ConsoleRepair

I just need someone to tell me this puzzle is possible without bending the metal.

This is very serious. I’ve never seen anyone else wearing something like it in public, a one of a kind garment. Purchased at a music festival in 2021.

Sutherland is like one of those little parasites that replaces the tongue of a fish. Like, yeah it’s technically a part Saskatoon but it’s also clearly grafted on and wasn’t a part of the original plan.

Not actually a very good photo, but this was taken on a hacked Cannon PowerShot back when I was experimenting with long exposure settings and manual HDR processing.
