Justin Trudeau never killed the oil and gas industry
The former prime minister's supposed hostility towards Alberta's defining industry is an article of faith among Canadian Conservatives. The facts tell a much different story.

Musk has effectively destroyed his EV business in Europe and other parts of the world in order to advance his political agenda. That's his choice. It's not our problem.

And rest assured: the rate and scale of EV adoption globally doesn't depend on what happens in America. Those days are done.

Trumpism's war on the truth is coming to Canada. We need to be ready
The Trump administration has made it clear that it will use almost everything at its disposal in its broader war on the truth. If we're not careful here in Canada, we'll become one of its casualties.

Just genuinely, remarkably stupid.

Alberta has plenty of provincial debt -- and more each year. Any separation agreement would require it to take on a proportionate share of the federal debt.

If anything, an independent Alberta currency would be a recipe for hyperinflation.
Modry added that an Alberta currency would "become the world's strongest currency, because we have no debt."
