Views my own, but ultimately a singular instantiation of the collective process of knowledge production, so really who’s to say.

trump (after zohran mamdani charms him for 5 minutes): “we’re looking very strongly at implementing socialism, many people are saying it. they love redistribution of wealth and you’re hearing it more and more. there’s a term, they call it, a centrally planned economy. it’s an old fashioned term”

"I liked their dissertation better than the book" is the "The debut record is okay but I like their first EP more, you probably haven't heard it" of academia.

Honestly can't believe THIS is the week in my theory syllabus we're doing Rumors, Secrets, and Conspiracy Theories (Shibutani/Simmel/Hofstadter).

I regret to inform Arsenal fans that Mamdani winning is their trophy for the season. Better than the Carabao, at least.

At the point in my theory course where I tell students that they really do need to read a couple pages of Hegel if they want to unlock what we’re talking about. Have managed to ignore the issue with Du Bois, Simmel, even Marx, but now we’re on to de Beauvoir and it’s unavoidable.

Guys, the Snocaps record sounds like Talulah Gosh and Heavenly and Marine Girls and the Pastels and a bunch of other stuff from Sarah Records and the C86 tape, except also Southern, and I'm not sure I'm going to listen to anything else this year.

I know other people have pointed this out, but it really is an underrated joy watching a Wembanyama highlight, seeing something amazing, and then realizing that there are like 20 second left in the video and you have no idea what else he's going to do.

It's like they're vertically integrating corruption.

Seriously, this has the potential to give us the first presidential administration in history to point shave elections. Real innovation in the field of graft.
Excuse me? So the company the President currently owns is teaming up with a cryptocurrency company to create a prediction market, which will take bets... on things the President himself has quite a lot of control over?

Gosh, I'm sure nothing bad will happen.

Luke Kornet out here on his way to dropping 30 entirely on uncontested dunks like he’s young Shaq because the Pels have to triple team Wemby.

Also, what Wemby did to AD last night had vibes of that two-leg Champions League knockout between Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan back when Maicon was arguably the best right back in the world and then it took two games for Gareth Bale to basically end his career.

Really wish Bill Walton was around to be the color commentator on last night's Wemby game.
