I'm trying to identify the moment when people started calling the police when kids under 18 went out unescorted. We had a group of tweens here during pandemic who lasted a couple weeks roaming around actually playing like old school latch key kids before the first cop showed up.
I had been taking myself to school for 3 years at this point and would regular get a bus into town with friends! I also had my own house key.

My pitch for a Star Wars Movie: a stormtrooper is ejected into space in battle, and flies on in the void, doomed to die, and questioning his life had any value, as he considers removing his helmet to hasten death. He has flashbacks of growing up among the troop, the turning of his sweet into kill.
