Not a lawyer, but these clauses appear to indicate that if you upload one of your papers, academia dot edu claims they then own the copyright and you are only licensed to download it for personal use. So you can't publish it elsewhere.

Not a lawyer, but these clauses appear to indicate that if you upload one of your papers, academia dot edu claims they then own the copyright and you are only licensed to download it for personal use. So you can't publish it elsewhere.
