Game Dev who makes games with the Godot engine. I sometimes dabble with other engines like GZDoom or RPG Maker. He/Him

I'm morbidly curious about the Josh Kirby: Time Warrior films. They seem 50/50 a fun b-movie romp or aggravatingly dull.

Interesting fact about that. The patch on the shoulder is a real air force patch from WWII depicting Bugs Bunny with a nuclear missile. You can see it more clearly in the remastered model.

Post your favorite "Lord of the Rings" character. Wrong answers only.

My style is partly influenced by that Dreamcast look where they have cartoon/anime style characters in low-res photo textured environments.

Putting together some wintry assets

Watched a few episodes of Rocko's Modern Life for the first time in god knows how long. I don't remember it being quite as violent as this. Maybe it was censored in the UK.

Along with The Dark Eye, I also downloaded Congo: Descent Into Zinj (based on the 1995 movie). It seems more interesting than I expected it to be.

Had to look up Phoenix Games and, oh... they're the company that published those creepy shovelware cartoon games, with all the bad animation and inappropriate sound effects.

Planning to read this when I'm done with Shadowland

I was thinking of making something for Christmas, so I was looking through old photos taken during the winter for texture sources. I found a couple of good ones. Thanks, my fifteen-year-old self!

I was browsing through old photo collections looking for texture sources, and I found these cute pictures of my old cats. From around 2006 I think.

man, the PS2 had so much trash

Nice! I love taking things like that and repurposing them in creative ways. I also picked up this off-brand Nerf pistol, which I might use for a sci-fi gun texture or something.

Picked up this cheap toy gun from a local shop, and made a Desert Eagle model out of it.

An idea came into my head for a scene where a bunch of bad guys are testing experimental weapons on trees and local wildlife. I've only made one character model so far.

I made the sound that plays when the mushrooms appear, by sliding my fingers across a piece of paper. I think this is the same technique they used to make the door sound in Star Trek TOS.

Background ambience is the sound of a plane flying overhead that I distorted in Audacity.

I'm pleased with how this is turning out. It'll be the first game I've released in like three years. #GodotEngine #shroomjam

Nearly dropped this project, but it's kinda fun now. Keeping it simple due to the short deadline. Player model is a placeholder, and I need to animate the magicians. #GodotEngine

This clip came up on my timeline. I completely forgot Bryan Cranston is in a Babylon 5 episode.

Magicians are on my mind because I'm currently reading Shadowland by Peter Straub.
