Prisoner is one of the strangest PS1 games I've come across. It's like if Smash TV was a JRPG that lets you kill NPCs. You can also pull words out of conversations with NPCs and use them as items (yes, really).

I never really cared for Tarantino's films. I tried to watch Pulp Fiction and turned it off about twenty minutes in.

Just noticed the Standard Material in Godot has an option to add an outline now. That should make my life easier.

My style is partly influenced by that Dreamcast look where they have cartoon/anime style characters in low-res photo textured environments.

I’ve started rewatching some of The X-Files and it really is amazing that even a bad episode of this is exponentially better than almost anything from the streaming era.

Watched a few episodes of Rocko's Modern Life for the first time in god knows how long. I don't remember it being quite as violent as this. Maybe it was censored in the UK.

The Engineer from Prometheus might be the dumbest thing I've seen in a film since that Titanic movie with the rapping dog.

Trying to imagine what this reads like.

"After launching themselves out of flying barrels for the sixtieth time, Diddy and Dixie continued on their quest to save Donkey."

"Chapter 6: Along the way Diddy and Dixie decided to go on a poorly built roller coaster for some reason."

The book I'm currently reading is Shadowland by Peter Straub. It's kinda like Harry Potter if it was much darker, and actually good.
we should treat still being a fan of harry potter exactly the same as being a big fan of hitler's paintings

Along with The Dark Eye, I also downloaded Congo: Descent Into Zinj (based on the 1995 movie). It seems more interesting than I expected it to be.

The attract loop for Amok, a Sega Saturn mech blast 'em up from 1996.

Developed by Lemon, published by Scavenger, and with music by Jesper Kyd.

This is a pretty damn cool game that uses voxels for its graphics rather than polygons, giving it a look that I more associate with Novalogic sims.

NEW VIDEO: Phoenix Games is beyond notorious for releasing metric tons of garbage for the the PlayStations 1 and 2, sometimes in compilations of asset flips.

What if, though, one of these games was kinda... okay? And how would such a thing be possible?

Both Voyager: Elite Force and Deep Space Nine: The Fallen were released in the same year and feature no actual music from their respective shows.
i was going through my X archives and found this by @superpodsaga.com, which I qrt'd at some point years ago

so, let me bring the question back: what is the most useless piece of video game knowledge you know?
