I love Harlan Ellison, and have for years. To me, "Jefty is Five" is probably the single finest short story of the 20th century. Now, having said that, anyone who was actually married to Harlan Ellison for any period of time probably deserves a state funeral and a monument built in their honor.
[RIP actress Lory Patrick, 92, who appeared in SURF PARTY (1964) and a clutch of 1960s TV programs. She was married to Harlan Ellison for six weeks in 1966, and later married regular Disney actor Dean Jones.]
