This plus equity of wages. You aren't sitting next to someone who does the same job but earns more, unless they have seniority. Unions are great levelers for women and minority workers. And you don't have to individually beg for a pay raise, the unions take care of the negotiations

Yes, all of Putin's puppets should be held accountable, including Rubio, Witcoff, Musk, et al

History will judge our response. Been looking at #Bangladesh as the people attempt to remake their democracy after authoritarian rule, convicting fmr PM of #CrimesAgainstHumanity

In addition to Philippines President Duterte's charges of crimes against humanity by ICC for extrajudicoal killings of those alleged to be in drug trade, former prime minister of Bangladesh was just found guilty of crimes against humanity for extrajudicial killings. Trump/Hegseth's time will come.

“threats aren't being defined by the Pentagon or based on what the intelligence community deems are greatest threats. They are being determined by one man, Donald Trump, & Donald Trump alone, & he is showing the world just how willing he is to use force against his enemies”

In case you thought you were safe bc you aren't one of his currently identified enemies to kidnap and deport, take a look at this line:

"and remove anyone who is not a net asset to the United States, or is incapable of loving our Country..."

No one is safe when a bully is in charge.

Even “centrist Democrats” are alarmed! Slotkin in this speech mentions that she was not alarmed enough by Trump 1.0 but recognizes Trump 2.0 is critically dangerous.

The 6 politicians who are raising the alarm do so at a personal cost because they clearly understand this.

Watch @slotkin.senate.gov at @brookings.edu

It was after this speech that she and other veterans in Congress called on all military members to follow the Constitution and obey only legal orders

“what's stopping him from using lethal force against enemies here at home?”
