POTUS’s claim is ridiculous-we’d have to create users, and he has other goals in mind. But less deteriorated folks, law enforcement leaders and journalists regularly make similar claims about fentanyl. Maybe better to preserve credibility and address a serious problem like adults. Halloween’s over.

Test for jury duty. You’re 51% sure he did it. He’s civilly liable. You’re as sure as you are in taking a mortgage, changing jobs. Not without doubt, but reasonably and responsibly sure. That’s criminally guilty. Either you’re not a fair juror, but you are absolutely a voter

A lot of folks still see crime as increasing. I think that there’s a hierarchy of issues as well as needs. Issues are constant but rise and fall as others affect more people.

Ugly? In a checkout line behind a women with a little boy eying the candy display. She looks at him, takes one and presents her SNAP card. The cashier checks, in Georgia it’s okay. Trust me the kid was getting the candy, but ugly is what we did to the mom, and the cashier, and to ourselves
This is flat out false. SNAP cannot be used for that. It’s not permitted under federal law and no states have an exemption for it.
ROB SCHMITT: People are using SNAP benefits to get their nails done, to get their weaves and their hair. This is a really ugly program.
