Wow — Senators Van Hollen, Smith, Murphy, Sanders, Warren, Markey, Merkley, Heinrich have created an official internal "Fight Club."

They're challenging Schumer & Gillibrand's leadership, arguing the party is using an old, corporate-friendly playbook insufficient to take on Trump or win elections.

Thinking about Chex Mix season, my favorite season. My wife is always trying to get me to do new seasonings (blasphemer) but I am considering spicing up my ingredients. Like:
- Old Bay Bagel Chips
- Cool Ranch Dorito-dusted pretzel twists
- Szechuan Peanuts

Woke up to discover we crossed $51,163 in not even 24 hours. Unbelievable love and support here going directly to kids and young adults. The wishes granted, the stories behind them (my kid would've wanted this, I like the same hobbies, eat shit Patrick Ewing) -- it lights my heart up. Thank you 💙

🧵 We are, in fact, doing the thing again for @onesimplewish.bsky.social. In 2024, the kind people of this community put the money cannon on blast to help grant $75K in wishes for children in foster care. Toys, tech, a suit for job interviews. Here we go again! 👇

Who knows what the actual number is, but anybody who would even insinuate that “There’s Nobody To Save You” to trans people should/will find out that it’s very much the opposite. Their ideology is dead and we’re (people with brains and hearts) not going to save them or it
You might not like it that trans people aren't willing to sacrifice themselves but a lot of them (and many allies) won't. You can't say you don't accept people holding their votes contingent; that's exactly what the transphobes who you're trying to win over by appealing to their bigotry are doing.

These 20 House Democrats just joined Republicans in voting to fully repeal DC's police reform laws.

Wiping off the books critical laws on use of force, transparency, and preventing violent cops from getting rehired.

They think that they should have more say over DC police than the people of DC.

new theory i'm developing: airing NBA, NFL and MLB games on regular network TV and cable has kept the populace sedated. adding barriers to watching these games by splitting them across expensive streaming packages will lead to the complete and utter dissolution of the united states of america.

Rob Manfred's ineptitude cost MLB a billion bucks in ESPN money, to make up for it he's selling off MLB dot TV to ESPN, and now he's claiming that makes up for it? What if he had NOT fucked up and lost a billion dollars and STILL sold MLB dot TV? Would that not have been better?
