Deleting the clock app was the best thing I ever did for my tbr list
My books arrived. I guess since I deleted the clock app, I'll be doing more reading

Catherine Earnshaw is an absolute menace. Heathcliff is also an absolute menace. They just keep on making it the Lintons’ problem.

I started using Pagebound today and so far I am seriously impressed. It’s not owned by a larger company and clearly puts effort into being accessible to indie authors. My only complaint is that the platform seems to rely on Goodreads for entering missing books.

One day I will listen to the Scythe by The Last Dinner Party without crying. Today was not that day.

I currently have 115 unread books on my shelf. My New Year’s resolution was to get this down to 50 in 2026, but my love of a charity shop find is making this a little unachievable….

I think making me go to work when I have a perfectly good book I could be reading in my pyjamas and with a cup of tea is cruel and unusual.

How do you find time to read on a work day? It feels like I read constantly on the weekends but can barely squeeze in a few pages during the week

The groups current traitors theory:

Rachael’s FBI training is completely made up and is the ‘welsh accent’ lie of the series

Will I ever stop reeling from Rachel saying she’s been trained by the FBI & has profiled everyone in the game in about a week? no, never, insane ludicrousness #TheTraitors

Just out of #Hamnet in a tiny cinema and my god Jessie Buckley the woman you are

If Hamnet doesn’t sweep this award season, there is no justice in the world.

I have never seen a performance like Jessie Buckley’s here. Perfect, no notes.

Special shout out to my row at the cinema, all of whom (including me) were crying for pretty much all of the last half

The costumes for the new Wuthering Heights film may be… interesting, but House is a moody and dark and atmospheric. Charli XCX is filling me with hope.

We put on 12 Angry Men (1957) while some friends were over for some background noise.

I don’t think anyone said a word during the film. We were all locked in from the first minute

Finally picked up the Wager by @davidgrann.bsky.social, and then could not put it down! Absolutely gripping from start to finish, and beautifully written. It’s unlike any narrative non fiction I’ve ever read before.

Next up: Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë
