Rest in peace and power❤️

I don’t want folks to forget She held on as long as she could but will never see justice for what this country did to her.

Keep talking about her and the Tulsa Massacre because too many want to pretend like these folks don’t exist or it was a long time ago.

There is a post circulating on Bluesky encouraging the moving of a frozen turkey straight into a pot of hot oil. We are combating this misinformation the best way we know how - through the power of dance music.

I still can't believe that someone who goes by the name of Catturd is a prominent voice in conservative politics. 🥴
They will all turn on each other in the end.

Todd Snider's passing sent me down the YouTube rabbit hole and brought me to this clip when he went on Fox and played an anti-conservative song.

I'm sad you're gone but glad you're no longer in pain.

Hard to find a more glaring example of racial health care disparities than Alabama's infant mortality rate, which is 5.4 deaths per 1,000 births among whites and 11.8 deaths per 1,000 births among Black Alabamians.
Via @annabjournalist.bsky.social: Alabama's infant mortality rate dropped from 7.8 deaths per 1,000 births in 2023 to 7.1 deaths per 1,000 births in 2024. But the overall rate remains higher than the nation's, and the Black infant mortality rate is more than double the white infant mortality rate.
Alabama infant mortality rate improves, but remains higher than national average | Alabama Reflector
Dr. Scott Harris said Thursday that the state's infant mortality rate was 7.1 babies per 1,000 live births in 2024, a drop from 2023.
