Looking through my old pie photos shows that 1. We love peach, cherry, apple, and key lime pies and 2. I cannot be arsed to actually weave a lattice crust.

100% the only caveat is you can’t store the cut pie in cast iron because it will pick up a metallic flavor—I slide the cooked pie into a glass pie plate!

Naked ladies (crocus) blooming in Chicago!
