I used to think I hated working out and always felt worse afterwards. Turns out I was just severely anemic and once I fixed that (it took a long time since I still have a working uterus) I can do cardio and not feel like I’m dying.

I hope my neighbors enjoyed my a cappella renditions of Archers of Loaf, Sugar, Built to Spill, The Flaming Lips, and Elliot Smith while I puttered around the garage this morning with my ear buds in. Sure made my chores more fun.

My daughter got her first college acceptance today! I know everything is terrible but my girl has worked so hard and is so god damned smart, I’m going to celebrate the heck out of this and all the other acceptances she gets.
