My daughter got her first college acceptance today! I know everything is terrible but my girl has worked so hard and is so god damned smart, I’m going to celebrate the heck out of this and all the other acceptances she gets.

I get it. This project helped me get way more comfortable with fixing brioche so, for me, that means I like it now because I can make it look good.

#showmeyourknits this week is #socktober and I always have a pair of socks going. Here I’m trying a play on old athletic socks. Doing a 3x3 rib for the leg, will do a flap Eye of Partridge heel then just stockinette on the foot.
Cute right?

Lord. I went to vet school in a town where Wally World was practically the only store in town optician, nail salon, tires, groceries, TVs all in one smelly spot. Haven’t stepped foot in one since I graduated in 2001. Now, TG&Y? That store I miss 😉

I guess I’m the weirdo but I would love to dress,style like this. My hair was made for this and the makeup was so easy compared to the concealer/contour/blending craziness nowadays.
